Description
The DCH Methanometer is designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentrations in the air. It utilizes two independent components: a pellistor gas detector for measuring concentrations between 0-5% CH4, and a conductivity bridge for measuring concentrations between 5-100% CH4. These measurement ranges are automatically switched between based on the methane concentration detected. The sensor head can be mounted directly on the device or positioned up to 30 meters away via a cable. The air inlet to the sensor head is protected by a replaceable filter. The device has two galvanically isolated digital outputs to signal dangerous methane concentrations, with alarm values set by the operator. A LED on the top of the housing indicates when the methane concentration exceeds the set alarm level. The device is enclosed in a waterproof, durable housing.
